Frequently asked questions
Do I need a consultation before an IV session?
Yes. Every protocol is prescribed after a medical evaluation — that is what Brazilian regulation requires and what makes the treatment safe. The evaluation is short and happens at the clinic.
How long does a session take?
Between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the protocol. You are in a reclining chair the whole time and you leave straight afterwards.
Do you see patients who are visiting Rio?
Yes, regularly — at the clinic or at your hotel. Message us with your dates and we will fit you in.
Is there parking nearby?
There are paid garages on Ataulfo de Paiva and on the surrounding blocks. The clinic is a five-minute walk from Antero de Quental.
Who administers the IV?
Nursing staff trained specifically in intravenous protocols — venous access, infusion monitoring and the safety routine that every session follows, always under the prescription of the clinic's endocrinologist.
